As part of its Clinical Corridor Initiative, Marengo Asia Hospitals has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Metropolitan Hospitals Limited (Kenya) and Zoscales Partners to establish a “Centre of Excellence” at the Metropolitan Hospital in Nairobi. By tackling the region’s pressing need for cutting-edge healthcare services, this partnership seeks to greatly increase healthcare accessibility and affordability in tertiary care throughout East Africa.
In order to enable Metropolitan Hospitals to become a regional center for tertiary care in East Africa, the organization will make use of its vast experience and clinical skills. In order to provide underprivileged areas with access to high-quality healthcare, our cooperation will concentrate on creating centers of excellence (CoEs) for specific specialties.
The idea of creating clinical corridors across geographical boundaries is one that Marego Asia Hospitals strongly supports. In order to improve healthcare standards worldwide, this is founded on the 3 Ts: teach, train and treat. Dr. Raajiv Singhal Founding member of Marengo Asia Hospitals stated “Team planning, infrastructure, compliance, pathway protocol development and training for all department stakeholders are all part of our comprehensive approach to creating centers of excellence.”
“By improving our clinical services and expanding access to advanced healthcare, we are not only improving the quality of care but also making it more affordable and accessible to a wider population,” said Dr. KK Gakombe, the founder and CEO of Metropolitan Hospitals Limited.
Jacop B. Rentschler, co-founder and managing partner of Zoscales Partners, said, “We are creating a revolutionary platform that will increase clinical capacity and broaden sustainable healthcare access for communities throughout East Africa by fusing the world-class experience of Marengo Asia Hospitals with the local strength of Metropolitan Hospitals.”
